Ibsar is monitoring the first round of the electoral campaigns of the legislative elections, running from November 25 to December 15, 2022, by adopting an approach based on the rights of persons with disabilities.
Ibsar dispatched 36 observers (19 Females and 17 males) over 93 electoral constituencies to document to what degree the candidates to the elections observed the specificities of persons with disabilities.
The observers are trained on election monitoring by adopting a human rights approach. They are tasked to monitor:

- The content of the speech during the campaigns and whether candidates addressed the rights of persons of disability and how.
- If accessible materials, including audible media and braille documents, have been used for persons with visual disability to access information
- if sign language interpretation is provided.
In addition, a committee has been established to monitor electoral agendas broadcasted on the Tunisian National TV channel Watania 2.
